Project scope #
I took a role of a senior fullstack engineer in the Platform Integration Team. Team’s goals for this project was:
- maintenance
- building new small features
- gradually migrating the service to a new bespoke microservice-based platform developed in-house
My responsibilities in this project were:
- Initially, maintain and build new features for the service
- Contribute into mass data migration software design
- Implementation of data migration services which would transfer:
- all user data
- purchase transactions
- pictures
- metadata
- Participate in the actual data migration and switch-over to new stack
