Whitepaper needed to release an iOS app to allow their subscribers to read content natively on mobile devices. I was subcontracted to design and lead the implementation of Whitepaper’s backend for the iOS app.

Project scope #
The project was developed entirely from scratch. The backend system proxies content from Whitepaper’s CMS and exposes it via APIs for consumption by the native iOS app. I was responsible for designing and leading the implementation of both the backend and the AWS cloud infrastructure. Despite our small team of just two developers, we successfully completed the project within tight deadlines. Throughout the implementation phase, my team and I worked closely with the iOS developers to ensure we maximized value for the client, all while adhering to the budget and timelines.
